"I belong here."

Possibly my favourite affirmation. And this is what I want to say to you, you belong here. If you have found La Mama, then you belong here.

You don't need to be a woman, or identify as one. You are a mama, a mother, a papa, a parent, not of any particular gender or denomination. You are here because you are either growing another human being inside your own being and/or are raising other beings.

You may be a surrogate mother, or on a journey to adopt, you may be a mother but not a woman. Whatever it is you identify with, whatever it is that has bought you here, you belong.

And you are very welcome.

La Mama refers to the mother that is in all  of us, as we were birthed from the Mother Nature, from our own mother. No matter who we are, we all have la mama in us.
