Ina May's Guide to Childbirth by Ina May Gaskin: my own source of inspiration when I was pregnant myself and amazing collection of birth stories that prepare you for all the different types of labours!

The Positive Birth Book by Milli Hill: THE book, really. Just the best. She covers it all, and funny with it. Easy for mamas and birth partners to read too.

The Positive Breastfeeding Book by Pr.Amy Brown : THE book for breastfeeding. Same as above!

The Little Book of Self-Care for New Mums by Alexis Stickland & Beccy Hands: a gorgeous book that will take you through all the postnatal things and help you look after YOU..

Your baby, Your birth by Hollie de Cruz: my favourite hypnobirthing book. No frills, modern and grounded. The book I would have written, beat me to it Hollie. Respect.
Online Wisdom
Right there's a lot of books but damn! there's a lot online, and you know, pregnancy and Google, not always the best match.. So here's a filtered down list of very useful websites that you can rely on:

Aims: For independent information about pregnancy and birth, birth rights and more. They also have books you can get on particular subjects to help you make informed decisions.

Evidence Based Birth: Similar to the above, lots of evidence based information deciphered for you

Dr Sara Wickham: Midwife extra-ordinaire, she writes easy to read articles on the latest research available to do with all sorts of pregnancy and birth relating subjects. And she has books too! She is the one that made the vagina. If you've taken my course, you'll understand!

Dr Sarah Buckley: Are all amazing midwives called Sara(h)?! No of course not. But here's another one. Particularly love her free E-Book all about the hormonal physiology of birth.

Spinning Babies: An absolute must for everyone! I talk about their groundbreaking knowledge a lot in the course but I highly encourage everyone to take their online Parents Class and/or follow their Daily Essentials exercises.
